Bergamos Retreat began in 2001 as a luxury day spa inspired by Bergamo, Italy — a historic town celebrated for its healing waters and the famed Peligreno spring.

Over the years, our guests wanted to linger longer, so in 2018 we expanded and opened Bistro 313 right beside the spa. What started as a place to enjoy a simple, healthy meal after a treatment has grown into a true destination for both spa guests and the greater Friendswood community.

Today, we’re elevating the entire experience with our exciting new Texas Meets Italian Menu. Focused on clean, from-scratch cooking using the freshest seasonal ingredients, our Piattini (small plates) concept invites you to create your own personalized tasting journey.

From signature dishes like the Texas Peach Pecan Crusted Chicken Sandwich with Hot Honey on ciabatta and Stuffed Italian Sweet Peppers with whipped goat cheese and aged balsamic, to many other thoughtfully crafted small plates — every bite celebrates the perfect harmony of Texas flavors and Italian tradition.
